When and Where will "Hong Kong Water Race 2020" be held?
"Hong Kong Water Race 2020" will be held on 17 May 2019 (Sunday) in Carpenter Road, Kowloon City. Please click HERE for map.
Is there luggage storage service in the race venue?
Sorry and luggage storage service is not provided. Teams are reminded to be aware of personal belongings, and run at their own risk of loss.
Is the race covered by any insurance?
On which day age is counted, the date of enrollment or the event?
Age is counted at the date of the event (17 May 2020).
Could I join two different teams at the same time?
Participant is not allowed join two different teams simultaneously. Please immediately inform us by email or post to update the team member list if you encounter the above situation.
For Corporate Category, what is the definition of corporate / organization"?
"Corporate" refers to a business in Hong Kong which has applied for business registration, while "government department" refers to government bureaux, departments and related organisations in the structure.
For Student Category, what is the definition of "teaching staff"?
Teaching staffs should be the staff of Hong Kong full-time school, and they must submit a verification letter .
For Student Category, must the students or teaching staff be from the same school?
Students or teaching staff of the same team could be from different schools.
For Family Category, what is the definition of "family kinship"?
Members should have blood relationship. However, it is not required to be one adult and one child.
Enrollment and Payment
The enrollment system is shut down, and I cannot enroll. What should I do?
Why couldn't I receive the email from the Organizer?
Emails might be considered as SPAM and is in the junk mailbox. Please check the related mailbox. At your convenience in receiving our emails, please also mark "Hong Kong Race Secretariat" (email@example.com) as Safe Senders List.
If no email is received after checking, please ask your team members if they have the emails. This is because the email address is invalid or written wrong for individual participants. Please immediately inform us by email to update the information if you encounter the above situation.
A Registration Completion email will be sent per team after the participant information is received. While an enrollment confirmation email will be sent per team after the deposit or cheque is received. If participating team could not receive any email, please call 3651-5219 during working hours, or send email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If I forgot to submit my payment over 3 working days after completion of registration, what should I do?
If deposit slip or cheque is not received within 3 working days after completion of registration (based on postmark date), the application will be temporarily put on hold without further notice. You may immediately finish the payment to reinstate the eligibility.
During the time the application is put on hold, the quota will be given priority on teams in the waiting list.
If I lost the deposit slip, what should I do?
If you have photographed the deposit slip for record, the Organizer accepts the deposit slip photo under the exercise of discretion.
You may also submit the monthly statement. The BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER and the AMOUNT TRANSFERING, which shows the fee deposited into the Organizer's bank account, must be clearly shown in the statement. Due to security reason, you may cover the middle three digits of your back account number.
Please be reminded to write down the "registration number", entry category, and name of team leader on the deposit slip photo or the monthly statement.
Could I make the payment with credit card?
The Organizer does not accept payment by credit card. Please refer to the following payment method: bank transfer or cheque (Click HERE for details).
Could I pay cash at the Organizer's office?

Could I request for any receipt?
Teams could request for receipt, which will be sent by mail with one month after event
Could I request re-fund should I am absent from the Race, or the Race is cancelled?
Enrollment is accepted and confirmed

Souvenirs are confirmed
Cancellation of event before or during the race due to severe weather or unexpected circumstances
If I have submitted wrong participating information, and now would like to change the information, what should I do?
