比賽場地設有行李寄存服務嗎?


抱歉,比賽場地不設行李寄存服務,隊伍須自行保管財物。大會不會承擔任何參加者的財物損失。




大會有否為活動購買保險?


大會已為活動購買公眾責任保險,參加者可考慮自行購買其他保險。





參賽資格

參賽年齡以報名那天,還是比賽那天計算?


參賽年齡以比賽當天 (2020年5月17日) 計算。




我可以同時加入兩支參賽隊伍嗎?


參加者不可以同時成為兩支不同隊伍的隊長或隊員。如遇有此情況,請立即 以電郵或郵寄方式書面通知大會,以更改隊員名單。




企業及團體組方面,怎樣才算是企業/團體/政府部門?


企業是指所有在本港經營、已辦理商業登記的業務;而政府部門是指屬於政府架構的政府決策局、部門及有關機構。 其餘符合以下條件的非政府/制度團體亦符合參加資格: ●根據《公司條例》註冊成立; ●或根據《社團條例》註冊;或 ●根據法規成立;或 ●註冊的認可慈善機構或慈善信託。 *隊員須填寫 身份確認書,並由所屬企業/團體/政府部門確認。




學生組方面,怎樣才算是教職員?


教職員須為香港全日制學校的職員,並需要填寫 身份確認書,以確認身份。




學生組方面,學生組合或教職員需要來自同一所學校嗎?


不需要,參賽者可來自不同學校。
請注意,「學生組」不適用於大專院校學生,大專院校學生可選擇參加其他組別。




家庭組方面,怎樣才算是親屬關係?


任何血緣關係即可,且無須是一名大人及一名小童。





報名及繳費

報名系統失靈,我不能夠報名,該怎麼辦?


請於辦公時間內致電9080-2461 / 3651-5263查詢。




為甚麼我收不到來自大會的電郵?


電郵或因個別系統的設定而被存放於「雜件箱」或「垃圾箱」,請參加者查看有關文件夾,並把「香港水足印定向」秘書處的電郵 (waterracehk@wse.hk) 標記為「安全寄件者」,以便日後繼續接收我們傳送的電郵。

若查看有關文件夾後仍未接收到電郵,請聯絡您的隊員,查看他們是否收到。這是由於個別參加者在填寫報名表格時,輸入錯誤或無效的電郵。如遇有此情況,請電郵書面通知大會,以更改為正確的電郵。

大會收到報名資料後,會向隊伍發出「登記成功」電郵。當大會收到入數紙或支票後,會向隊伍發出《參賽確認》電郵。如仍未收到相關電郵,請於辦公時間內致電9080-2461 / 3651-5263,或電郵至waterracehk@wse.hk,以便大會補發電郵。




我於成功登記後超過三個工作天才繳交報名費,該怎麼辦?


若成功登記後三個工作天內,大會仍未收到有關入數紙或支票 (以郵戳日期為準) ,該隊伍的參賽資格將暫時凍結而恕不另行通知。您可以立即繳付報名費,以恢復參賽資格。

請注意,資格被凍結期間,參賽名額將優先給予候補名單的隊伍。




我遺失了入數紙,該怎麼辦?


若您曾為入數紙拍照作記錄,大會將會酌情處理,接納隊伍提交入數紙之相片。

您亦可以提交相關的月結單,上面須顯示銀行戶口號碼,以及顯示存入大會帳戶的該筆轉帳。基於保安理由,您可以將戶口號碼中間3個數字遮蔽。

請注意,您仍然需要在入數紙相片或月結單上,寫上「登記編號」、「參賽組別」、「隊長姓名」。




我可以使用信用卡繳費嗎?


大會不提供信用卡繳費服務,並只接受以下付款方式:存入銀行戶口 或 支票,詳細 請按此參閱




我可以到大會辦公室繳交現金嗎?


大會不接納參加者繳交現金,並只接受以下付款方式:存入銀行戶口 或 支票,詳細請按此參閱




我可否索取繳費收據?


按此向大會申請繳費收據,收據將於活動完結後一個月內郵寄。




若比賽取消,或我未能出席比賽,我可否申請退款?


所有繳交之費用恕不退還,包括但不限於以下情況:

  • 確認參賽資格後
  • 更新隊伍資料後
  • 確認領取活動紀念品後
  • 賽前或比賽期間因惡劣天氣或其他突發事件而被迫取消

有隊員在報名後不能出賽,該怎麼辦?

若隊員於比賽當日臨時缺席,該隊伍可繼續參與,但不能競逐任何獎項。

我填錯了報名資料,現在想更改資料,該怎麼辦?

Event Details

When and Where will "Hong Kong Water Race 2020" be held?


"Hong Kong Water Race 2020" will be held on 17 May 2019 (Sunday) in Carpenter Road, Kowloon City. Please click HERE for map.




Is there luggage storage service in the race venue?


Sorry and luggage storage service is not provided. Teams are reminded to be aware of personal belongings, and run at their own risk of loss.




Is the race covered by any insurance?


Public Liability Insurance is covered by the Organizer. Participants are advised to take up their own personal or other insurance policies separately, if necessary.





Eligibility

On which day age is counted, the date of enrollment or the event?


Age is counted at the date of the event (17 May 2020).




Could I join two different teams at the same time?


Participant is not allowed join two different teams simultaneously. Please immediately inform us by email or post to update the team member list if you encounter the above situation.




For Corporate Category, what is the definition of corporate / organization"?


"Corporate" refers to a business in Hong Kong which has applied for business registration, while "government department" refers to government bureaux, departments and related organisations in the structure. Non-governmental or uniform groups are also eligible should they fulfil one of these requirements: ●Registered under the Societies Ordinance, or ●Registered under the Companies Ordinance, or ●Formed by statute, or ●Registered on the list of approved charitable institutions or trusts of a public character Team member must submit a verification letter which is endorsed by the corporate, organizations or government department.




For Student Category, what is the definition of "teaching staff"?


Teaching staffs should be the staff of Hong Kong full-time school, and they must submit a verification letter .




For Student Category, must the students or teaching staff be from the same school?


Students or teaching staff of the same team could be from different schools. * Students of tertiary education are welcome to participate "Corporate & Group Category".




For Family Category, what is the definition of "family kinship"?


Members should have blood relationship. However, it is not required to be one adult and one child.





Enrollment and Payment

The enrollment system is shut down, and I cannot enroll. What should I do?


Please call 3651-5219 during working hours.




Why couldn't I receive the email from the Organizer?


Emails might be considered as SPAM and is in the junk mailbox. Please check the related mailbox. At your convenience in receiving our emails, please also mark "Hong Kong Race Secretariat" (waterracehk@wse.hk) as Safe Senders List.

If no email is received after checking, please ask your team members if they have the emails. This is because the email address is invalid or written wrong for individual participants. Please immediately inform us by email to update the information if you encounter the above situation.

A Registration Completion email will be sent per team after the participant information is received. While an enrollment confirmation email will be sent per team after the deposit or cheque is received. If participating team could not receive any email, please call 3651-5219 during working hours, or send email to waterracehk@wse.hk.




If I forgot to submit my payment over 3 working days after completion of registration, what should I do?


If deposit slip or cheque is not received within 3 working days after completion of registration (based on postmark date), the application will be temporarily put on hold without further notice. You may immediately finish the payment to reinstate the eligibility.

During the time the application is put on hold, the quota will be given priority on teams in the waiting list.




If I lost the deposit slip, what should I do?


If you have photographed the deposit slip for record, the Organizer accepts the deposit slip photo under the exercise of discretion.

You may also submit the monthly statement. The BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER and the AMOUNT TRANSFERING, which shows the fee deposited into the Organizer's bank account, must be clearly shown in the statement. Due to security reason, you may cover the middle three digits of your back account number.

Please be reminded to write down the "registration number", entry category, and name of team leader on the deposit slip photo or the monthly statement.




Could I make the payment with credit card?


The Organizer does not accept payment by credit card. Please refer to the following payment method: bank transfer or cheque (Click HERE for details).




Could I pay cash at the Organizer's office?


The Organizer does not accept payment by cash. Please refer to the following payment method: bank transfer or cheque (Click HERE for details).




Could I request for any receipt?


Teams could request for receipt, which will be sent by mail with one month after event




Could I request re-fund should I am absent from the Race, or the Race is cancelled?


Fees are non-refundable; no refund will be made in the following cases:

  • Enrollment is accepted and confirmed
  • Update of team information is accepted
  • Souvenirs are confirmed
  • Cancellation of event before or during the race due to severe weather or unexpected circumstances





Participant Information

If I have submitted wrong participating information, and now would like to change the information, what should I do?


In case of any change or update of team member list, team category or other team information, please follow the arrangements below: ●Start of Enrollment - 28 Feb 2020: Teams shall immediately inform the Secretariat ●28 Feb - 31 Mar 2020: Teams will be charged HK$100 per transaction. ●On or after 1 Apr 2020: No change will be allowed. Team intending to do so is still allowed to participate in the game but will not be eligible for the awards.




If I forgot the participating information, what should I do?


Please check the "Enrollment Confirmation Email" sent by the Organizer.




If one of the team members is not able to attend the race after enrollment, what should I do?


If the absence of participant is known beforehand, please immediately inform us by email and follow the arrangements below, in order to to update the team member list: ●Start of Enrollment - 28 Feb 2020: Teams shall immediately inform the Secretariat ●28 Feb - 31 Mar 2020: Teams will be charged HK$100 per transaction. ●On or after 1 Apr 2020: No change will be allowed.
